About

I am a security researcher and manager with over 16 years of experience in threat detection, formal verification, and security research. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), where my work applied formal methods to malware detection.

I am Manager, Core Threat Protection & Intelligence at Bitdefender, where I have progressed from Malware Researcher to leading teams that build detection technologies protecting millions of users. I am also a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Computer Science, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași (UAIC), where I teach Advanced Programming, Information Security, and Formal Languages, Automata and Compilers.
